These golden tips black loose leaf teas are instantly recognizable because they are either bud-only or consist of lovely, long and slightly twisted russet-brown leaves with an abundance of golden buds.
Masterfully oxidized into an amber color flecked with golden buds with one twisted leaf, this black tea has an impressive strength, density and refined finish. This Golden tips organic black tea was harvested first flush leaf plucked from older tea bushes rather than new tea gardens. These golden organic black teas are instantly recognizable because they are either bud-only or consist of lovely, long and slightly twisted russet-brown leaves with an abundance of golden buds. This top-shelf black tea is delightful when served straight, and divine with milk and sugar.
Everest Gold is hand picked one to two leaves and a bud withered in cool air for 8 hours then rolled for 20 minutes in light pressure dried 90 sec in cabinet dryer. This tea was oxidized for 8 hours. This golden tips black loose leaf black tea grown in high altitude and in fresh air of Himalayas is less astringent then other better quality black tea. Everest Gold is very refreshing and delightful orchid-like aroma never becomes bitter when brewed well.
We named it after Mount Everest because the liquor of this tea reminds the beautiful color of Mt Everest when the first sun rays paint the summit. Alike Everest, this golden tip black tea is rare with flavor, aroma and feel.
